I love everything about this mug. The sliver design could either be a rising sun or rising moon. It's the perfect size for tea, coffee or even to drink water. What I like best is it feels amazing to hold because you can wrap your hand around the cup and there are subtle grooves where your fingers rest. Also the lip is thin and very pleasant to drink from.
At first I was hesitant to purchase this expensive rice bowl, but once in hand it's beauty and design make it all worth of the cost. The size of the bowl is ideal for rice or soup especially if you find some bowls a bit large. There are many nuances in the finish reminiscent of a sea shell and the red wave swirls & gold accents add a touch of elegance.
