The smallest of small plates, but with such a bold and warm design that it still stands out among the tablewear. Also perfect colour for an autumn themed traditional japanese dinner!
The dish arrived in the most beautiful and careful packaging. Unwrapping each one felt like opening a birthday gift. The dishes also have more depth of color and a subtle sparkle that is not captured entirely in the photographs. I love my little dishes, and use them almost daily from acting as little snack bowls to holding side dishes like pickles. The craftsmanship is evident when you hold the piece. I look forward to having these for a long time.
