Old Imari Style Assorted Small Bowls/Plates

I always want to buy this kind of assorted small bowls/plates for my Japanese side dishes/appetizers. I just love the design at frist sight, with good size which I could use not only side dishes but also dessert and small dishes with sauce. Love the design, each small bowls is different inside and out.

The packaging is very nice and with protective wrapper which you could see how Japanese pay attention to details and assure your beautiful tablewares will hand on you safely.

I bought these serving bowls to serve side dishes in Miwa's cooking class as part of her Ichiju Sansai meal concept. The artwork is extremely delicate and I can't help but to hold the bowl in my hand and admire the intricate paintwork. Each bowl has a unique design and matches a lot of her other tableware superbly.

I love these bowls. each one looks different and is lovingly designed. You can use them for so many possibilities. For side dishes, for fruits, for snacks or, in a very un-Japanese way, for sweets :-). the quality is excellent, the print is sharp. I use them every day and i'm happy when I see them on my table.
