The box arrived in pristine condition. Each item was individually wrapped & protected in a box & then gift wrapped with a furoshiki cloth  or wooden box.  So much attention to detail is rare and makes each item even more precious.

Once I unwrapped each item they are even more beautiful than the photos and so lovely to touch and look at. One can really appreciate the craftsmanship devoted to making each special piece.

I love my new bowls - they are so gorgeous and detailed!  As I continue to learn and incorporate Ichiju-sansai into my daily life, using these bowls not only encourages me, but elevates the overall appearance as we eat with our eyes as our taste buds.  Now to decide which piece I want next!

Since it is very difficult to get authentic handmade tableware in Germany, I am even more pleased that Miwa is now offering this. I couldn't wait to finally hold the package in my hands. When it finally arrived, I was really pleasantly surprised at how lovingly the dishes were packaged. Each piece came in its own high-quality box and was carefully packaged. You can see the love the artist has for his pieces. If you hold the pieces in your hand, you notice how high-quality they are made. I'm looking forward to cooking Ichijū-Sansai dishes and putting them on the dishes. I especially fell in love with the Ume bowls and am looking forward to enjoying my miso soup from them

My tableware order from Miwa's shop arrived today! So quick from Japan; only 5 days from my order date. I chose these pieces to treat myself to some beautiful things and moreso, as a long term keepsake to remind me of my cooking journey with Miwa. The boxes were nicely tied in the pink and lavender furoshiki wrap.

I am thrilled to report the entire ordering experience from your website to the package arriving is seamless.  The process is by far one of the very best I've have ever encountered. (And Lisa set the bar very high with her Beauty Cafe online store)  As soon as the order was placed, I was notified of the status.   Once it was packed and shipped, emails were sent to track the shipment from Japan to the US. The process was so quick. The box was delivered in exactly the 2 hour time frame mentioned in the notification.
